Are you only interested in ideas or also in persons?

What we are interested in is the creation of new businesses. For that reason we fund promising ideas brought to us. We also have lots of ideas for which we need business leaders. Could that be you? Then apply!

What sorts of companies do you fund?

We fund technology or innovative services companies. Typically these are web-based or software companies, but we've funded companies that don't quite fit that mould either. We're also looking for companies that can have national or worldwide reach.

What do you look for in ideas?

What is new about your idea? What is the advantage for the customers and why should they use your product or service? Can you make money with the business? If you have solid answers to these questions, you are definitely on the right track.

How can we get funding?

Just Apply.

How much do you invest?

That really depends on your idea and your capital needs. We start with small sums such as 10.000 Euro, but also invest 100.000 Euros. Furthermore, if the capital needed exceeds our investment criteria, we look for additional investors who will support us in funding your company.

What stake do you demand for your funding?

There is no general answer to this question. This really depends on many factors such as sum of capital invested, realistic future company value etc. We will always be looking for a fair deal for all parties involved because the success of your company will then depend on good team spirit.

We have more than just one idea. Can we present them all to you?

Of course you can present us all your ideas.

What do we need to present to you?

We believe in ideas and in persons, not in written things. So we rather see demos than business plans. A company presentation can guide you in a meeting. We provide you with some tools and documents in our download centre. Feel free to choose whatever you feel comfortable with.

Do I have to be full time?

We understand that you may be working on other things right now. We do expect though that if we invest in you and your ideas, then you will work on your business full time. We value commitment and believe that you will want to work full time building your next great business.

Will you sign an NDA? How do I know you won't steal my idea?

An idea with no people to implement it has no value! We won't show your idea to anyone outside of Omnis Mundi. Each year, we review hundreds of ideas and many of them include similar ideas. For this and other practical reasons, please don't ask us to sign an NDA. We hope that our reputations speak for ourselves on this topic.

What sort of control am I giving up by granting equity to Omnis Mundi?

Omnis Mundi wants to be viewed as a co-founder. We expect to have all the same rights as any other founder, relative to our ownership position. In a nutshell, we don't want any special or controlling interests in your company. You will still run the show.
