Omnis Mundi is a team of experienced entrepreneurial CEOs who have joined forces to foster the creation of new business in Europe. We focus on innovative opportunities in the Technology, Internet, Software and Services sectors.

Our focus on European entrepreneurship stems from two key observations:

  1. Historically, there has been a lack of entrepreneurship in Europe. Over the past 20 years, the level of entrepreneurial activity in Europe has lagged behind the US. According to the 2005 edition of the Eurobarometer Survey on Entrepreneurship, only 4 per cent of Europeans were involved in setting up a business during the past three years. In the US, nearly three times as many had been in an entrepreneurial environment.

  2. There is a limited "eco-system" of supporting services that ease the entry into the entrepreneurial sphere. Perhaps as a result of limited entrepreneurial activity or even as cause of it, the lack of legal knowledge, personell search and advisory services inhibits the would-be entrepreneur. Furthermore, seed and first-round venture capital are not as accessible for the European entrepreneur as they are for their American counterparts.
